According to the University of East Anglia, kids who have a healthy diet of fruits and vegetables have better mental well-being. Studies in the UK show that school children who eat fruits and vegetables. Breakfast and lunch are healthier with these nutritious foods on the child’s plate. Research shows that second graders who have at least five portions of fruits and vegetables every day have optimal mental health. Schools and public health programs have developed policies to make sure kids get high-quality nutrition. Staying this healthy helps kids get good grades.

The has been a growing acceptance of how mental health is important for a developing child. As the child grows, mental health stays healthy well into adulthood. If there is poor mental health during adulthood, there are poor achievement and life outcomes. Research shows that only one in ten kids do not eat fruits and vegetables. At least one in five high school students were reported to eat a complete breakfast and at least one in 10 high school students did not eat lunch.
