Strange Artifacts Raise Questions About Homo sapiens Traveling to Northeast China
| |Artifacts that are 45,000 years old in northeastern China show signs of cultural mixing of unknown local groups with newcomer Homo sapiens. These artifacts include a possible bone implement, two stones with platforms, a partial graphite disk, and two rectangular stone tools. The excavation was held halfway up one of the hills overlooking the northern part of the Shiyu River in China.
