Proper sleep is a necessary activity for a healthier life,
but Americans seem to be silently suffering from a lack of this vital need and
that trend is getting worse.
With a large percentage of the population stressed by
the effects of sleep deprivation, studies grouped subjects based on race, age,
income and lifestyle. This led to a huge revelation through a self-report,
revealing that the categories determined a different outcome with subjects.
A lack of rest is scientifically linked to a higher
risk of heart conditions and diabetes.
Additionally, experts believe that the overuse of new age technology such as touchscreen gadgets may be causing sleep disturbances and are responsible for stress outbreaks across the population.
